At 12:00, kindergarten-age children races begin, in order:
- Vrtić (2021. godište) dječaci (100m)
- Vrtić (2021. godište) djevojčice (100m)
- Vrtić dječaci (2022. godište) (100m)
- Vrtić djevojčice(2022. godište) (100m)
- Vrtić dječaci (2023. godište i mlađi) (100m)
- Vrtić djevojčice (2023. godište i mlađi) (100m)
At 12:45, the races for 1st and 2nd grade elementary school begin.
- Elementary school 1st and 2nd grades boys (200m)
- Elementary school 1st and 2nd grades girls (200m)
At 13:00, the races for 3rd and 4th grade elementary school begin.
- Elementary school 3rd and 4th grade boys (400m)
- Elementary school 3rd and 4th grade girls (400m)
At 13:15, the races for 5th and 6th grade elementary school begin.
- Elementary school 5th and 6th grade boys (600m)
- Elementary school 5th and 6th grade girls (600m)
It is necessary that children are registered through the system on the Zagreb Marathon website.
Upon arrival at Ban Josip Jelačić Square, accompanied by their parents, they report to the registration center where they will receive a starting number, refreshments and a T-shirt. This must be done at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of their race.
After that, they go to the starting area where volunteers and judges will divide them into groups in which they will run, depending on their year of birth.
Upon completion of the race, or crossing the finish line, each child receives a medal, and the top three in each race will receive additional awards during the announcement of the winners on stage after each race.
Only the first race in the category has a set start time, and the others continue in order as the previous race ends.
For this reason, it is necessary for children to be in the starting area on time, that is, at the start of the race program for their age.
Djeca vrtićke dobi mogu trčati u pratnji roditelja (to ne vrijedi za skupinu 2021. godište).
There is no registration fee for participating in children's races, and exceptionally registration is also possible on the day of the competition at Ban Josip Jelačić Square, but we ask that you avoid this due to unnecessary crowds at the registration center.
REGISTRATION ON THE DAY OF THE COMPETITION, REGARDLESS OF THE RACE IN WHICH THE CHILD IS COMPETING, MUST BE COMPLETED BY 12:00 PM. AFTER THAT, REGISTRATION WILL NO LONGER BE POSSIBLE BECAUSE START LISTS WILL BE FORMED.
