Registration for the World Veteran Marathon Championship opened on Tuesday, April 7th, and will take place on Sunday, October 11th as part of the 34th Zagreb Powerade Marathon. If you are a veteran, i.e. if you were born on October 11th, 1991 or later, you can register on the Championship website. https://wmamc2026.com/, and registration for the Championship lasts until September 1st.
There are no performance standards for participating in the Championship, but membership in a national veteran athletics organization is a requirement – for Croatia, this is the Croatian Veteran Athletics Association. www.havu.hr.
